Incoming  2026-27 president Frank McMahan moved with his family to Saugus in 1963 when Santa Clarita was still very much a farming community. Growing up in this kid-friendly setting, Frank attended Leona Cox Elementary School, Sierra Vista Junior High and Canyon High School. Even in his younger years, Frank’s main ambition was to earn his own living, securing a job at International Brotherhood of Painters and Allied Trades Union in 1978. He garnered valuable experience working on some of the largest and most well know commercial buildings and complexes throughout Los Angeles before striking out on his own. He formed his first business in 1985, and is now the owner of LL Construction Services, Inc.

Frank joined the Santa Clarita Sunrise Rotary Club in 2005 serving his first three terms as president from 2009 through 2012. His fourth term as president was during the COVID pandemic. Prior to the Sunrise Club merging with the SCV Rotary lunch club in 2024, Frank was club treasurer for two years. His volunteer service also branched out into the community, spending nine years as a member of the Salvation Army advisory board.

Frank married wife Cathi in 1996. The couple has two children, Carson 26, and Libbie 24. Now that Libbie is completing her requirements for nursing, Frank and Cathi look forward to traveling in between work and carrying out his duties as SCV Rotary president..
