Changing the world is very possible. We’ve done it before.
We’ve immunized 2.5 billion children against polio over the past 40 years, essentially eradicating the disease from the planet. We also do humanitarian missions which are planned annually by Rotary District 5280. David Goldberg, along with other Rotarians, helped to refurbish buildings in Belize, on one of those trips.
Embracing Local Traditions
Kevin MacDonald scoops up ice cream on a peach cobbler serving. Rotary’s peach cobbler booth is one of the most popular attractions at the city’s annual Cowboy Festival held each spring at William S. Hart Park in Downtown Newhall. Another popular food event is the annual SCV Rotary Charity Chili Cook-Off.

Community Projects
SCV Rotary is dedicated to supporting community charities and other service organizations, many of our members serve on various community boards. Krissy Ball and Sonia North were among those ringing the bells for the Salvation Army in December’s fund-raising drive.
