Cub Scout Pack 490
Amos Enderman of Cub Scout Pack 490, president Scott Hoolahan, and Scoutmaster Adam Enderman lead the Pledge of Allegiance to open a Rotary weekly meeting.
This hugely successful and popular event raises a great deal of money for the Boys & Girls Club of Newhall and SCV Senior Center. Ask around town and you’ll find out just how famous our Peach Cobbler is at the annual Cowboy Festival in Newhall. The line stretches from here to the Mississippi River, y’all! This event raises a lot of money for all the great causes the Rotary Club donates to each year and it’s a fun way for you and your whole family to enjoy volunteering…and eating…the very best of our community.
Nothing brings more joy than making a difference, however small, for the future of this world: Children. Rotary is dedicated to improving the lives of mother’s and children. One way we do that is by giving textbooks to schools and kids who need them. For instance, last year when a local private school had to close it’s doors, Rotary rescued thousands of books from destruction and redistributed them.
